The Apprentice 2017 – Week 1

Week 1

The class of 2017

Well it’s back. 18 more business candidates attempting to get £250,000 of Lord Sugar’s money, or failing that perhaps a stint on next year’s Celebrity Big Brother (like two of last year’s candidates!).

No it’s not a new pop group or Lord Sugar’s backing band, it’s five (of the six) past winners: Tom, Ricky, Leah, Mark, (Joseph not there) and last year’s winner Alana.

Instead of having the first week split into a Friday and a Saturday show they did the whole thing on one this year with all 15 couples dancing on the same night. This was rather too much in my opinion. We’ll get the same thing next week.

 The leaderboard

So we have our early front runners. From early indications Aston and Alexandra are nailed on for the final, with strong contenders Jonnie, Debbie.

Susan, Joe, Mollie, Davood and Gemma are in it a while I think.

The Rev might last longer than he should.

The others could be gone in the early weeks.

As usual, we shall see.

First vote out next week.
